Steve’s words made your blood boil, and you opened your mouth to snap at him when Jonathan punched him in the face.

The fight that followed was quick but intense, Jonathan beating the shit out of Steve before the cops pulled up in the alleyway. The bunch of assholes all ran away from the scene, Steve leaning into Tommy for support, shaken by the hits he took to the face. You turned back towards the cops, letting out a shaky sigh and explaining the situation. They all knew Joyce Byers and let Jonathan off with a warning, “Only this time.”
